The consumers with the aid of the high courts verdict completed the building of the apartments after the builders were jailed on a case. For ten whole years, the consumers were tormented by the fact that their buildings were incomplete. The builders contract was to built a total of 170 apartments in an area of 1.5 acres. A total of 132 consumers toiled hard for ten years to make their dreams a reality and has successfully completed the construction of the flat and succeeded in the distribution of the keys. Vinod Madhavan, who was appointed as the administrator in this case by the high court hand overed the keys in the ceremony. The Apple Builders had started the construction way back in 2006 and had collected a total amount of 14 crores from 132 consumers. The contract was to finish the construction by 2009 and handover the apartments. That was when the builders were meddled with the jailing and the construction stopped midway and hence the people who gave advance for the apartments formed and association and filed a case in the High Court. In 2013, the High Court appointed Vinod Madhavan as the administrator of this case. He consulted a building contractor and gave a contract to finish the project by a total of 8.5 crores. The apartment was successfully completed because of the teamwork of the consumers as well as the administration. Their joined forces has forged to complete the incomplete dreams of many.
